Aucto ARS

Aucto is an online auction marketplace for industrial and commercial equipment. I was brought in as Product Designer and Product Strategist to help create its Asset Redeployment System from the ground up: a centralized virtual warehouse designed to replace disconnected tools, manual processes, and fragmented asset workflows with one configurable platform.

I worked directly with the CEO to understand the business opportunity and enterprise users, while collaborating closely with development to shape a system that could realistically be built. My role included product architecture, workflow design, permissions, approval logic, feature prioritization, and the end-to-end user experience across a wide range of roles, from floor staff and managers to administrators, executives, shipping teams, and external donation partners.

The platform introduced a Virtual Warehouse, guided redeployment workflows, internal transfers, auction management, direct sales, donation portals, shipping and receiving, end-of-life asset tracking, and role-specific dashboards. A major part of the challenge was designing one flexible system that could support very different enterprise operating models without becoming overwhelming.

By focusing the team on one disposition channel at a time and building reusable patterns for permissions, approvals, logistics, and reporting, I helped turn a highly ambitious concept into a scalable 0→1 product foundation.
