Kanopi was a concept for a modern commercial real estate platform designed to serve both property seekers and brokers through a more intuitive, human-centered digital experience. I led the project as Project Manager and UI/UX Designer, owning the product experience from early strategy and wireframes through interactive prototyping, visual design, brand direction, responsive layouts, property discovery, map search, listing details, market insights, and the broker dashboard.
The project began as an idea to create a digital alternative to established commercial real estate platforms, but the design process also helped define the true scope of the business itself. By mapping different search behaviours, simplifying property discovery, and prototyping the complete platform before development, I was able to show stakeholders what would be required to build, operate, and maintain the product long term. Although Kanopi ultimately remained a concept, the work delivered a complete product vision, validated user experience, cohesive brand system, and a much clearer understanding of the investment required to bring the platform to market.
